What appeals to me about CC4C is that it is a ‘grassroots’ organization.
It is a great leveler, in that the participants come from across the entire strata of Clearlake citizenry.
Court judges pick up roadside trash alongside homeless volunteers, City employees next to offenders performing Community Service.
The high & the low, the good & the bad, all working in the same direction for a very small community with many obstacles; poverty, lack of industry, senior and handicapped citizens, unemployment, years of no Code Enforcement.
